I’m a South African creative who constantly strives to move the needle, loves collaborating and taking responsibility within my work environment, and owning and sharing my skills to achieve a positive outcome. Starting out in the entertainment industry at a very young age, shortly after graduating, I worked my way up through the ranks from production driver to producer on film sets and studio-bound television productions. Together with Helen Kuun, I am a founding member of Indigenous Film Distribution, South Africa’s foremost distributor of African content where I held the position of Production Manager, until being appointed Marketing and Distribution Producer. I work closely with a number of filmmakers, production houses, creative talent and content partners in a cross-functional role. I oversee post-production, and handle creative campaigns and asset creation, taking into consideration the ever-changing technical formats required for sales and the various platform deliveries according to budgets. Over the years I have initiated and overseen the marketing and publicity campaigns for many feature films and contributed to their successful releases both within South Africa and internationally.
